TechxNova Hacks is a hackathon for female and non-binary students in grades 6-12—an opportunity for younger girls to get involved in CS and ML, given the current lack of females in the field. This was one of our biggest events, reaching 250 people from over 30 countries. During this month-long event, students came together to create a project that helps our society, in one of the 3 tracks offered: Python Beginner, Machine Learning, and Web Development. This hackathon is for all skill levels including beginner and advanced coders, as we conducted introductory workshops online on Python, ML softwares, and web development during the course of the month. With speakers and judges from Amazon, Microsoft, and more, students were able to learn from peers and professionals, while competing for over $23,000 in sponsorship prizes.
